The new update allows you to check messages and also look for hosts or travelers. Couchsurfing is a great program and the app makes it easier to use.

Couchsurfing made me a human who belongs to the world. I have become to love and respect people of all race, culture, language and ethnicity. More than all, thank to couchsurfing I got to meet the best people from all over the world and they all turned out to be friends and family. I sometimes wonder what would I be with out couchsurfing. I recommend this app and website to everyone who believe in humanity, the beauty of the world and traveling like a local.

Cool Helpful

This app is great, it seems to have all the CS functions you need and I havent had a single problem with it yet. Its been REALLY convenient. I wish all apps were this seamless!

So I was able to find two places to stay in two separate countries. One was last minute (October to December 2015) I spent 20 days saving money and then the last week of my trip when I was nearly broke. It is great for finding hosts and I am using it right now to find a place in the USA for my travels to Washington D.C. This app saved me when traveling on a budget I couldnt have survived without it.

As others have mentioned here I have received great benefits from Couchsurfing as to meeting all sorts of wonderful people and making many new friends around the world. The app makes the process of requesting and accepting hosts/couchsurfers quick and convenient, and I will frequently hear back from folks within a few hours. Highly recommend the site and the app.

New way to travel and get to know cool people

For a while I been a host, I met a lot of new people and friends, I think its great idea of sharing rooms, instead of selling it. The best things in our live are free

Here on this app, if you go about things wisely you can make amazing moments in your life. Travel he world the way it should traveled by meeting and learning about people and their culture.

My best friend and I are planning a euro trip and we wanted to couch surf because its free and there is nothing like getting to know a place but by staying with locals. However I about sent out 50+ request and not a signal person accepted. I am not sure if it was because Im traveling with one more person. I also didnt verify my account 100%. Verifying required 20 dollars. Not cool
